About Jack

Jack Wolfgang is a full-time computer programmer (Microsoft Windows and web), part-time preacher, full-time husband to Mary, and full-time disciple of Jesus Christ.

Jack was born in Florida¹ towards the end of the Nixon administration, and has lived here all his life with the exception of short stint in Georgia. Jack matriculated² the University of South Florida, a public university, for a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. After moving to Tallahassee with aspirations of a doctorate in chemistry, Jack became a Christian and a computer programmer.

Jack continues to live in the state capital where he attends First Christian Church, and he is heavily involved with the Tri-State Christian Fellowship. Jack has been married to his better (and prettier) half Mary since 2002.

1. Although most people think of Miami and Walt Disney World when thinking of the Sunshine State, Florida has a completely different meaning to Jack. Jack finds it to be part of God’s beautiful creation, and is almost never found in the Mouse Kingdom. While television has glamorized South Beach, Jack thinks the rivers, lakes, forests, and swamps of Florida are far more glorious than the night life of Miami. However, the waters of the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico lapping against the soft, white sand of a Floridian beach are quite wonderful.
2. Matriculated was reported to be used in a political insult in Florida a number of years ago in which one candidate accused the other of “matriculating in a public university”.
